The Kapuchin Stick has been an evolving process from taping a toothbrush to sticks at the boulderfields, to poles of all sorts (broken golf clubs, archery arrows, broom sticks, light changing poles, etc), to even bringing our huge stick clip pole out to the boulderfield (awkward!).

Finally the idea came for a portable, adjustable angle brush, which could attack slopers, crimpers, and any hold equally as well.  Below are some of the pieces crafted in the creation process.

And........the final design.  Thank goodness we found a design that was compact, versitile, easy to carry, and fit all the boulder brushing needs we could find.  Made with super-durable Red Oak Hardwood and high quality hardware, the Kapuchin Stick is in a class of its own!

The Key Features are:  1)  a pole that collapses to 24" and expands to 6', which easily fits in any bouldering pad/pack, 2)  an adjustable angle brush, 3)   blow hole or camera attachment, 4)  a walking stick, 5)  and a stick clip for sport climbing.
