The Kapuchin Name

The Kapuchin Stick is named after the Capuchin Monkey (a group of New World Monkeys), but spelled with a 'K'.  Highly intelligent, playful, and amazing to watch........these monkeys are the inspiration for our specialized stick brush.

Their name comes from the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, who wore brown robes with large hoods covering their heads. When explorers reached the Americas in the 15th century they found small monkeys who resembled these monks and named them capuchins.
